Guntbert Warns

Guntbert Warns (born August 5, 1959 ) is a German actor , singer and director .

Life

Warns lives and works mainly in Berlin . The pastor's son received his training as an actor at the Hanover University of Music and Theater . In addition to various cinema and television roles, Guntbert Warns often plays at theaters in Germany and Europe, including at the Schiller Theater and the Komische Oper in Berlin as well as in theaters in Hamburg , Vienna , Paris and Basel .

In 1990, Warns and Heinz Werner Kraehkamp founded the Berlin cabaret Die Bastarde , which existed until 1994 .

Warns has been part of the open ensemble of the Berlin Renaissance Theater since 2012 ; for the 2020/2021 season he will be the new artistic director of the Renaissance Theater.

Warns is married and has three children. In addition to French and Italian , Warns also speaks Berlin , Ruhrpott and Westphalian .
