Derenkowez ( Ukrainian Деренковець ; Russian Деренковец , Polish Dereńkowiec ) is a village in the Ukrainian Cherkassy Oblast with about 1700 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1192, has been administratively part of the rural municipality of Nabutiv ( Набутівська сільська громада ) in the east of Korsun-Shevchenkovskyi Raion since December 2016 .
The village is located at an altitude of 98 m on the right bank of the Ros , a 346 km long right tributary of the Dnieper , 4 km east of the Nabutiv community center ( Набутів ), 15 km east of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi district and about 55 km west of the oblast center Cherkassy .
Territorial road T-24-03 runs north of the village .
