Desmond Marquette
Desmond Marquette (born November 1, 1908 in Albuquerque , New Mexico , † August 7, 1999 in Santa Barbara , California ) was an American film editor .
Life
Marquette worked as an editor for RKO Pictures from 1935 to 1951 . During this time he was exclusively involved in cinema productions, after which he turned to television and worked on various television series and a few television films until the 1970s. In total, he was responsible for editing more than 70 productions .
In 1996 he was honored with the ACE Career Achievement Award . Before that, he won the Eddie Award three times.
