The Destruction Bay (English for destruction Bay is) a 9-km wide bay on the east side of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between Taylor Point and Cape Melville .
British Captain Richard Sherratt named the bay after his ship Lady Trowbridge here on December 25, 1820 havariert was.
