Detlef Mikolajczak (born April 15, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In 1985, Mikolajczak and his team, DSC Wanne-Eickel , made it into the final of the German amateur football championship , after they had won the runner-up in the amateur league in league operations. In the final, the DSC met the amateurs from Werder Bremen . Mikolajczak and his teammates, such as Peter Wieczorek and Ralf Regenbogen , had no chance in the 3-0 defeat against the Hanseatic League, who competed with Gunnar Sauer , Dieter Eilts and Frank Ordenewitz , among others . In 1987 Mikolajczak left the DSC and tried his luck with Bundesliga club VfL Bochum for a year . For Bochum he made his Bundesliga debut on the first match day of the 1987/88 season against Borussia Mönchengladbach , the game was lost 1: 2. By the 15th matchday he had already played 8 games, but then did not get a chance. After the season he turned his back on professional football and rejoined Wanne-Eickel.
