The amateurs of Werder Bremen became German amateur soccer champions in 1985 . In the final at Bremen's Weser Stadium on June 22, 1985 they won 3-0 against DSC Wanne-Eickel .
Participating teams
The champions of the eight Oberliga seasons and the second in the Oberliga Nord from the 1984/85 season played the four promoted teams for the 2nd Bundesliga in a promotion round . Seven runners-up and the third from Oberliga Nord took part in the competition for the German amateur championship.
