German amateur soccer championship 1964

German amateur soccer champions in 1965 were the amateurs of Hannover 96 for the second time in a row. Overall, it was the third title of Lower Saxony in this competition. In the final in Siegen's Leimbach Stadium on June 27, 1965, the Hanoverians won 2-1 against SV Wiesbaden in a new edition of the previous year's final.

The qualified teams of the 16 regional associations played the 15th German amateur champion in the knockout system with a return leg. A final decided the championship.
