history

The club was founded on June 15, 1895 as Rixdorfer FC Normannia 1895 and renamed Neuköllner FC Fortuna 1895 in 1912 . On September 23, 1923 Neukölln Fortuna merged with Rixdorf FC Fortuna in 1907 to form 1. FC Neukölln . After the dissolution in 1945, the Rixdorf sports group was formed, which in 1949 was renamed 1. FC Neukölln again. On June 23, 2017, the Serbian building contractor Ismet Bajevac took over the association, which included it in “1. FC Novi Pazar Neukölln 95 “renamed.

Men's soccer

The football department was one of the more successful Berlin clubs in the 1920s. In 1925, the Neukölln team advanced to the final of the Berlin Cup , which they lost 3-1 to SV Norden-Nordwest . At the same time, 1. FC managed to get promoted to the double-track Berlin-Brandenburg league. In season A, the Neuköllner took fifth place out of ten clubs in the 1925/26 season. For the next two seasons, 1. FC was divided into season B and took 8th and 6th places out of ten teams. Back in season A, the people of Neukölln were able to compete with Hertha BSC again and took fifth place in 1928/29. But in the following season, the team finally overtook relegation as ninth in the table. Although the immediate re-promotion succeeded, the 1. FC could not hold the class and immediately rose again in 1931/32.

It was not until the re-establishment as SG Rixdorf after the Second World War that the team was back in the top division and in 1945/46 belonged to the 36 sports groups that played the participants for the new Berlin city league in four seasons . As fifth in Season C, however, the Rixdorf team missed the leap into the single-track city league.

It wasn't until 1953, meanwhile again under the old club name, that the club succeeded in advancing to the second-class amateur league in Berlin. There the team met relegated Hertha BSC and finished in sixth place at the end of the 1953/54 season. The following season went even better. As third in the table, they only missed the second place qualifying for promotion by five points. As a consolation, 1. FC Neukölln represented Berlin at the German Amateur Championship , but had no chance in the preliminary group. All games against Sportfreunde Siegen , SV 09 Bergisch Gladbach and SpVgg Sterkrade 06/07 were lost. After that it was changeable. In 1956 Neukölln finished eleventh, was again a good fourth in 1957, before the team was relegated in 1958 as 15th and last.

With the establishment of the Bundesliga , 1. FC Neukölln also managed to return to the now more third-class Berlin amateur league. In the 1963/64 season, the newcomer managed to stay in league as tenth in the table, and the following season brought promotion to the second-rate Berlin Regionalliga . There the Neukölln were represented until the end of the regional league in 1974. The best placement was the sixth place in 1968/69, a twelfth place in 1967/68 meant the worst performance for the mostly midfield team. Seventh place in 1973/74 was not enough to qualify for the 2. Bundesliga North , like the majority of Berlin's regional league clubs, 1. FC Neukölln was now part of the third-class Oberliga Berlin . Here 1. FC could only hold the class in the founding season 1974/75. With only two victories, the Neuköllner 1975/76 descended from bottom of the table.

Since then, the men have been in the shadow of local rivals TSV Rudow, Tasmania 73 and VfB Concordia Britz. Since the promotion in 2015, the Neukölln play in the seventh-class state league.
