Detlef Urhahne

Detlef Urhahne (* 1966) is a German psychologist .

Life

In 1994 he obtained a diploma in business administration from Bielefeld University and in 1998 a diploma in psychology in Bielefeld . From 1998 to 2001 he was a research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Science Education (IPN) at the University of Kiel . After receiving his doctorate in psychology in Kiel in 2001 , he was a research assistant at the Institute for Didactics of Biology at the LMU Munich from 2002 to 2007 . After completing his habilitation in educational psychology and empirical education in Munich in 2008, he represented the professorship in the international master's program in Psychology of Excellence in Business and Education at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich from 2008 to 2010 . From 2011 to 2013 he represented the professorship for educational psychology at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg . Since April 2013 he has been Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Passau .
