Detlev Alexander von Wenckstern (born August 25, 1708 in Celle ; † February 13, 1792 ) was a German lawyer , Real Privy Councilor , judge , President of the Chamber and President of the Court of Appeal in Celle .

Life

Detlev Alexander von Wenckstern lived between Great Britain and Hanover at the time of the personal union . Around 1779 he was a British royal and a “ politician appointed ” to the Electoral Braunschweig-Lüneburg Chamber . His estate can be accessed via the central database of the German Federal Archives . The Hanoverian ambassador to the imperial court in Vienna Friedrich Alexander von Wenckstern was his son.
