Detlev Friedrich von Ahlefeldt

Detlev Friedrich von Ahlefeldt (* March 12, 1686 ; † around 1745 ) was the heir to Brodau and a Danish major general .

Detlev Friedrich von Ahlefeldt , heir to Brodau, was the son of Detlev Siegfried von Ahlefeldt and Barbara Elisabeth von Holstein. He was born in 1658 on the noble estate Brodau and after the death of his father inherited the noble estate, which he sold for 60,200 Danish kroner in 1737 to the chief bailiff Christian Eberhard Niemeier zu Lauenstein due to lack of money. Detlev Friedrich was lieutenant colonel from 1727 and later a colonel in the Leib-Dragoons Regiment. From 1730 he was Danish Major General and retired from the service after a few years.
