Detlev Joost
Detlev Joost (* 1945 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer and university professor .
Life
After receiving his doctorate on July 16, 1971 at the University of Hamburg as Dr. iur. and his habilitation in 1983 in Kiel , he taught from 1984 to 1991 as a professor at the Saarland University (chair for civil law, labor law, commercial and economic law) and from 1991 to 2009 as a professor (C4) for civil law, labor law in Hamburg.
