The Deutmecke is a 1.4 km long orographically right tributary of the Ruhr in the North Rhine-Westphalian Wiemeringhausen , Germany .

geography

The brook rises west of the Ochenkreuz on the saddle between Öhrenstein and Beieck at an altitude of 654  m above sea level. NHN . The source is about 2 km east-south-east of Wiemeringhausen, a district of Olsberg . The Deutmecke flows mainly in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Ruhr at Haus Wildenstein. The mouth is about 1.5 km southeast of Wiemeringhausen at an altitude of 458  m above sea level. NHN . With a height difference of about 196 m, the mean bed slope is 144 ‰. The catchment area of only 87.5 hectares is drained to the North Sea via the Ruhr and Rhine .
