The German Society for Senology eV (DGS) was founded in 1981. It is based in Berlin and is a medical senological specialist society in which human physicians deal with the topic of the functions of the female breast .

tasks and goals

The aim of the DGS is the scientific national and international exchange of experiences on the knowledge about the normal and disturbed functions of the female breast (senology). It also gives recommendations on the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. The specialist focus is on breast cancer .
