German handball championship (women) 1971

The champions of the five regional associations South, Southwest, West, North and Berlin had qualified for the final round of the 14th German indoor handball championship for women . First a preliminary round game was played, the winner of which advanced to the semi-finals. The two semi-final winners contested the final of the German championship again on April 18, 1971 in Kiel (in front of 3,000 spectators). Holstein Kiel became the German champion .
