German handball championship (women) 1973

The champions of the five regional associations South, Southwest, West, North and Berlin had qualified for the final round of the 16th German women's indoor handball championship. First a preliminary round game was played, the winner of which advanced to the semi-finals. The two semi-final winners contested the final of the German championship in Rüsselsheim. German champion was TuS Eintracht Minden .
