Germany against ... - The duel or Germany against ... - The Revenche was an event show series that has been broadcast on Sat.1 since June 2, 2010 . Prominent people from Germany played against another nation in competitions such as B. "Churning" or "Parking flags" against each other.
Production & broadcast
Shortly before the start of the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa, which could well lead to a duel between Germany and the Netherlands, Sat.1 left the two nations in one of Johannes B. Kerner, who among other things goes to the broadcaster for such shows came to Unterföhring , moderated and produced by "hurricane Fernsehproduktion GmbH" in a live broadcast from the disused Berlin-Tempelhof airport , compete against each other - with success. An average of 14.7% of the advertising-relevant target group of 14 to 49-year-olds was obtained, so that a second edition was commissioned, and it was decided to have a series of Germany versus ... - The duel produced.
After the second episode (against Turkey) even increased the advertising-relevant quotas, nothing really stood in the way of a third edition. However, Mistral Media AG, which owns hurricane, was in a bad light after a criminal complaint was filed against its ex-boss, so it was decided to have the issues produced by Kerner's production company jkb-tv with immediate effect. Although it was announced that this would only be done once, the 4th edition of jkb-tv was also produced.
Both episodes produced by this company flopped from the audience's point of view.
A new edition was produced and broadcast in July 2013 under the title Germany versus Holland - The Revenge . Matthias Killing and Andrea Kaiser took over the moderation . This time production was done by Eyeworks .
