Devil Take Us is a 1952 American documentary film directed by Herbert Morgan . Morgan also wrote the script for the film and acted as producer.

action

A police officer, who mostly drives a motorcycle on duty , buys a used car to take to his family on the east coast for a short vacation . There are minor problems with the car on the way, but also problems with inconsiderate behavior in traffic. The policeman exchanges his experiences on the road with a colleague from the motorway police, who reports on his sometimes bad experiences with traffic hooligans. The police officer's perception of how the return trip from vacation differs from the trip to vacation is also discussed.

The film was shot in California , USA .

Del Kuhn, seen here in the role of the policeman, was one of the leading off-road motorcycle racers in the United States in the 1940s and 1950s. Among other things, he won the renowned Greenhorn Enduro in 1948, 1950 and 1951. Kuhn also worked as a police officer.

Awards

The award went to Walt Disney for Waterfowl and Norman McLaren for Neighbors .
