The Devils Lake is a lake in the US state of North Dakota . The lake is North Dakota's largest natural water reservoir.
location
The lake is located in the northeast of the state of North Dakota, in the County s Ramsey and Benson . On the shores of the lake are the towns of Devils Lake in the north, Fort Totten in the south and Minnewaukan in the west. There is a larger island in the lake called Graham Island. Visitors can use a bridge to reach the island, which is shaped by the Graham Islands State Park, a large park. A large hotel complex was opened in June 2002 on a smaller island in the western part of the lake .
tourism
In the 1990s, Devils Lake was discovered for tourists. Since then, new hotels and resorts have been built. The lake is particularly used for fishing and boating. There is a boat rental and a campsite by the lake. The lake has been named one of the top five fishing lakes in the United States. Glass eye bass , pike and sea bass are particularly common in Devils Lake . The Devils Lake Chamber Golf Tournament is also held annually at Devils Lake .
