The Devnya Valley ( Bulgarian Девненска долина Dewnenska dolina ) is a 2.5 km long and 700 m wide valley on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Levski Ridge of the Tangra Mountains , it is on the northern slopes of Great Needle Peak and Helmet Peak . To the north it opens to the Huron Glacier .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it between 2004 and 2004. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the valley in 2005 after the town of Devnya in northeastern Bulgaria .
