The Devrekanı Çayı is a river to the Black Sea in the northern Turkish province of Kastamonu .

The Devrekanı Çayı rises about 20 km east of the district town of Devrekani . It initially flows through the plateau of the Devrekanı district in a westerly direction. It flows north past the city of Devrekanı and passes the district town of Seydiler . A ridge to the south forms the watershed between the Devrekanı Çayı and the Gökırmak, which flows in an easterly direction in the south . The Devrekanı Çayı later cuts through the mountain ranges of the Küre Dağları in a predominantly northwestern direction. It flows through the city of Azdavay and then breaks through the mountains in a deep gorge. The Küre-Dağları National Park is located there . The river eventually turns north and flows into the sea 5 km west of the coastal town of Cide near the village of Kumluca . The Devrekanı Çayı has a length of 160 km.
