The Dezadeash River is the left headwaters of the Alsek River in Canada's Yukon Territory .

The Dezadeash River drains the Dezadeash Lake at its northeastern end of the lake. It flows through the narrow Six Mile Lake and continues its course to the northeast. After about 40 km it turns west. The Yukon Highway 1 ( Alaska Highway ) now runs not far from its right bank. He takes up the tributaries Aishihik River and Kathleen River and passes the place Haines Junction . After about 150 km the Dezadeash River meets the Kaskawulsh River coming from the west , with which it joins the Alsek River.

The Dezadeash River is a popular waterfront for canoe trips . The tours usually start on the west bank of Dezadeash Lake, which is along the Yukon Highway 3 . After crossing the lake, the tours continue downstream to Haines Junction.
