The Kathleen River is a left tributary of the Dezadeash River in Canada's Yukon Territory .

The Kathleen River forms the drain of Kathleen Lake . He leaves it on its east bank. The Haines Highway ( Yukon Highway 3 ) crosses the river shortly afterwards. The river then flows through the smaller lakes Lower Kathleen Lake and Rainbow Lake . It flows mainly in a northerly direction. The Quill Creek flows into the river on the left. After about 30 km the Kathleen River meets the Dezadeash River. The estuary is 5 miles east of Haines Junction . At level 08AA004 ( ) at the discharge from Kathleen Lake, the mean discharge is 11 m³ / s.
