The diocese of Newrokop ( Bulgarian Неврокопска епархия / Newrokopska eparchija) is an eparchy ( diocese ) of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church with its seat in Blagoevgrad . The diocese of Newrokop is today divided into 5 Okolii : Newrokop (today Goze Deltschew ), Blagoewgrad, Raslog , Sandanski and Petritsch . The diocese of Newrokop was founded in 1890 and confirmed by a sultan 's council.
