Diocese of Plovdiv
The diocese of Plovdiv ( Bulgarian Пловдивска епархия / Plowdiwska Eparchija) is an eparchy (diocese) of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church based in Plovdiv . The diocese is one of the largest in Bulgaria and is now divided into nine okolii : Asenovgrad , Haskovo , Pazardzhik , Panagyurishte , Karlovo , Smolyan , Ivaylovgrad , Peschtera and Plovdiv.
