Diabugu (spelling variant: Diabugu Batapa ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 4,196 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 2,874.

Diabugu is located in the Upper River Region , Sandu District , on North Bank Road , on the north bank of the Gambia River , approximately 14 miles from Basse Santa Su and approximately 17 miles from Bansang .
