The Diamond DA62 (formerly named DA52 ) is a twin-engine aircraft produced by the aircraft manufacturer Diamond Aircraft . It is offered as a sport aircraft as well as a light business aircraft and a light reconnaissance aircraft .

With the Diamond DA62, the Austrian company is producing the second multi-engine aircraft. It contains elements of the not mass- produced DA50 and the also twin-engine DA42 , while the basic structure of the fuselage was taken from the DA50. According to Diamond, the aircraft was developed in six months. The aircraft was registered for traffic in Europe in 2015 and in the United States in late February 2016.

Two Austro Engine AE330, which are operated with Jet A-1 , are used as drive .
