The Diana Reef is an isolated reef in the group of Joinville Islands on the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is 5 km east of the D'Urville Monument in Active Sound .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out a rough mapping in 1954. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the reef in 1956 after the Diana , one of the ships of the Dundee Whaling Expedition (1892-1893).
