Dibromanisole
The dibromanisoles form a group of aromatic compounds that are derived from both anisole and bromobenzene or dibromobenzenes . The structure consists of a benzene ring with an attached methoxy group (–OCH 3 ) and two bromine atoms (–Br) as substituents . Their different arrangement results in six constitutional isomers with the empirical formula C 7 H 6 Br 2 O:
