Dickfeitzen is a small town in the southwestern part of the municipality of Waddeweitz in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is on a hill on the eastern edge of the Hohe Geest . It is located in Wendland (Lower Saxony) in the Elbhöhen-Wendland Nature Park . One and a half kilometers northwest of the village is the Dickfeitzen large stone grave .
history
For the year 1848 it is stated that Dickfeitzen had twelve residential buildings in which 86 residents lived. At the time the school was in Clenze . On December 1, 1910, Dickfeitzen had 81 inhabitants and was an independent municipality in the Lüchow district . In 1929 the previously independent community of Toad was added. On July 1, 1972, Dickfeitzen was incorporated into the Waddeweitz municipality with thirteen other municipalities.

For the year 1848 it is stated that the place was parish after Clenze . A small, simple chapel with a turret was built in Dickfeitzen around 1900 . In 1975 she got a church bell . The baptismal font was the chapel congregation of the 2004 parish coasts paid. The chapel community is affiliated to the Clenze parish .
