Love must be crazy , English original title Can't Hurry Love , is an American television series in sitcom format . It aired in the United States between September 18, 1995 and February 26, 1996 on the CBS and was discontinued after a season of 19 episodes of 30 minutes each. The first broadcast in Germany took place between January 9th and April 1st, 2000 in the RTL program with double episodes each night from Saturday to Sunday.

The main character, 28-year-old Annie O'Donnell, who works as a recruitment agency, is actress Nancy McKeon . The central theme of the Axelrod-Widdoes Productions, CBS Entertainment Production, The Producers Entertainment Group Ltd. and TriStar Television-produced series is Annie's search for her dream man, in which she was supported by her neighbor and best friend Didi Edelstein (played by Mariska Hargitay ) and her colleagues Roger Carlucci (played by Louis Mandylor ) and Elliot Tanny (in the pilot episode by David Pressman and later portrayed by Kevin Crowley ).

With an appearance by Charles Shaughnessy as Maxwell Sheffield from the series The Nanny in the 13th episode, the series is part of the series universe of Everybody Loves Raymond , Becker , Cosby , Love Must Be Crazy , The Nanny , King of Queens and Sara's exciting country life and the feature film This Is Spinal Tap .
