Louis Mandylor (* 13. September 1966 in Melbourne , Victoria as Louis Theodosopoulos ) is a Greek - Australian actor , director , screenwriter and film producer .

life and career

Louis Mandylor is the son of Greek immigrants and the brother of the actor Costas Mandylor . Between the ages of 16 and 20, Mandylor played professional football in Australia. In addition to acting, he also acted for the first time in 1998 as a screenwriter and producer of the comedy short film My Brother Cicero . Since 1990 he has appeared in more than 80 film and television productions.

Mandylor is also active as a director. In 2003 he directed his first feature film with Jimmy Bones , followed in 2009 in In the Eyes of a Killer , which has won awards at several film festivals. In 2014 he directed The Blackout .

Mandylor also acts as a producer. In addition to the films he directed himself, he produced two films in 2010, Gerald and The Cursed , in which he also played a leading role.
