Sporting successes

Already at her very first international run (starting class T / F37), at the age of 16, the sprinter, who had been paralyzed on one side of her left side from birth, brought two silver medals from the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta. Numerous other medals in international competitions followed. In 2003 she set a European record over the 100 meter distance at the European Championships in Assen (Netherlands). She became multiple world and European champion. At the Summer Paralympics 2000 in Sydney and at the Summer Paralympics 2004 in Athens , she won a silver medal over 100 meters. Isabelle Foerder also took part in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing . Foerderer started so far for the clubs TSV Erfurt and HSC Erfurt.
