Hidden Camera is a German television show that was produced for ZDF from 1995 to 2003 . The show originally started under the name Voll caught and was first broadcast on April 12, 1994. The program was temporarily renamed for licensing reasons. From 1997 the renaming to Hidden Camera was permanent.
On February 13, 2016, a new version of the program appeared under the title The Hidden Camera - Prominent Tricked! .
In the show, celebrities were filmed with a hidden camera while they were being set up in a situation.
In the Neuaufsetzung of 2016, the celebrities have colleagues and ordinary citizens themselves pranks to play and try to win against the other. They were assessed and judged by a jury consisting of Til Schweiger , Heiner Lauterbach and Carolin Kebekus . However, the winner was determined by a telephone vote of the audience. The jury was abolished in 2017. The episode was pre-produced so that at the end the audience in the hall voted for their favorite film.
