Diego Fuser (born November 11, 1968 in Venaria Reale ( TO )) is a former Italian football player .

Career

Raised in Turin , Fuser was so prominent in his third season at Torino Calcio that he was signed by AC Milan . He stayed there for three years and was loaned to Fiorentina in the second season . With Milan he won a championship and a world cup .

Since Fuser could not play in the regular team at Milan, he moved to Lazio Rome in 1992 , where he was able to score ten goals in his first season. For years he remained one of the most important players in the Romans, with whom he won the Coppa Italia in 1998 . In the same year he was signed by AC Parma , with whom he won the Coppa Italia, the UEFA Cup and the Italian Supercup in the 1998/99 season .

After three successful years in Parma, he moved to AS Roma in 2001 , where he hardly got any playing time, so in 2003 Fuser decided to end his professional career in Serie B at Turin FC . He then ran from 2004 to 2008 for AS Canelli and rose to Serie D with the club for the 2006/07 season . In summer 2008 he left the club and joined the USD Saviglianese Calcio . After his temporary return to AS Canelli, he changed employers again shortly afterwards and has been active in amateur football ever since.

Fuser played 25 games for the Italian national soccer team , in which he scored three goals. He was a member of the national team at the 1996 European Football Championship in England .
