Diego Jónathan Yépez Arellano (born September 13, 1989 in Guadalajara ) is a retired Mexican track and road cyclist .

Diego Yépez began his career in 2008 with the Mexican Continental Team Tecos de la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara . In 2011 he won the bronze medal in two-man team driving at the Pan American Championships together with Cristian Medina . 2103 he was with Jose Ramon Aguirre Pan-American champion in two-crew driving and finished with José Alfredo Aguirre, Jose Ramon Aguirre and Edibaldo Maldonado in the Team Pursuit third place. At the Central America and Caribbean Games in 2014 he won two silver medals, in scratch and in the team pursuit (with Ignacio de Jesús Prado , Jose Ramon Aguirre and Ignacio Sarabia ).

By 2015, Yépez was at least six times Mexican champion in various disciplines on the track. He then ended his cycling career.
