Diemar (noble family)
The noble family von Diemar is an old Franconian aristocratic family that has been based in what is now southern Thuringia since 1474 .

In Franconia and Saxony the family was wealthy a. a. in Melkers 1536, Utendorf 1500, Walldorf 1500, Wasungen 1536. In Silesia in Lang-Hermsdorf . The Barons von Diemar line were primarily wealthy in the Mainz area .
As an imperial-free knighthood, it was organized in the Franconian knight canton of Rhön-Werra .
