Dieter Engelhardt (born February 24, 1926 ) is a former German marathon runner .

biography

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 Engelhardt was the first TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen athlete to compete in the marathon , where he finished 30th.

Engelhardt had previously won silver at the German marathon championships and in the team competition he was German champion with Willy Wange and Hans Vollbach .
