Dieter Friedrich

Dieter Friedrich (born December 21, 1947 in Eldagsen ) is a former German hurdle and middle distance runner .

In 1971 he was German runner-up over 800 meters in the hall and won bronze in the 4 x 800 meter relay at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Sofia with the German team. Between 1969 and 1976 he wore the national jersey ten times.

In 1971 and 1975 he was German runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles . He set his personal best in this discipline of 50.56 seconds on September 15, 1974 in Berlin .

Dieter Friedrich started first for the Hannover 96 , later for the LG Wuppertal.
