Dieter Hoffmann (born April 3, 1939 in Hersbruck ) is President and Honorary President of the DLRG State Association of Bavaria, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the DLRG Foundation Bavaria and founding member of the DLRG Board of Trustees Bavaria. Before his retirement, he was a full-time savings bank director.

Life

Dieter Hoffmann completed his apprenticeship at the Sparkasse Hersbruck, passed the exams for the advanced Sparkasse service (1964: Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH) ) and the advanced technical examination (1966) with the diploma Sparkasse- Betriebswirt FH. As an auditor for the Savings Banks Association of Bavaria , he completed the association auditor examination in 1968. From February 1, 1977 until his retirement on April 30, 2002, he was a member of the board and director of Stadtsparkasse and, since July 1, 2000, of Sparkasse Bamberg , responsible for the lending business.

As Vice President of the DLRG regional association of Bavaria from 1999 to 2002, he was appointed president of the regional association in 2002. In 2009 he was elected honorary president. Dieter Hoffmann has been a board member of the Diakonisches Werk Bamberg-Forchheim since 1993 and a board member of this institution since 2002.

Hoffmann has been a founding member of the DLRG Board of Trustees in Bavaria since 2000 and has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the DLRG Foundation in Bavaria since 2002.

Dieter Hoffmann lives with his wife Ylva in Bamberg.

B. about the Federal Order of Merit (Issue 29/2004), about the Bavarian Order of Merit (Issue 44/2006), about the badge of honor of the DLRG regional association of Bavaria (Issue 35/2005).
