Dieter Iseler

Dieter Iseler (born February 3, 1937 in Osnabrück ) is a German architect and former member of the Hamburg Parliament for the SPD .

Life

After attending grammar school in Osnabrück, Dieter Iseler initially trained as a bricklayer. This was followed by studies at the engineering school for construction in Hamburg and his first professional steps in Frankfurt am Main and Königstein im Taunus , before he settled in Hamburg as a freelance architect in 1973 . He is married and has two children.

politics

Iseler joined the SPD in 1968. He represented his party from 1977 to 1979 in the Hamburg-Nord district assembly . From 1978 to 1986 he was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament. There he mainly worked in the culture committee, in the committee for equality for women and - as a deputy member - in the building committee. After his time as a member of parliament, Iseler was elected deputy of the cultural authority in January 1987 .
