Dieter Neubauer (born September 23, 1941 ) is a former German soccer player. In 1963 he played for Dynamo Dresden in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

In the GDR-wide soccer match, Dieter Neubauer only appeared in two seasons. As a 20-year-old, he first appeared in the 1961/62 season in the squad of the second-rate GDR league club Dynamo Dresden. In the first GDR league he played ten of the 39 point games with which the GDR league returned from the calendar year rhythm to the summer-spring system. Dynamo Dresden ended the season as promoted to the GDR league. In the plans for the league season 1962/63, Neubauer played no role with coach Helmut Petzold . Only five game days before the end of the season Neubauer was used as a representative of the injured defender Peter Wühn in the encounter between Motor Zwickau and Dynamo Dresden (2-1). It was Neubauer's only league game and at the same time his last appearance in higher-class football.
