Peter Wühn (born March 6, 1938 - March 25, 2019 ) was a German football player. For Dynamo Dresden he played 1962/63 in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

Until 1957 (calendar year season) Peter Wühn played in the company sports community (BSG) Motor Süd Brandenburg in the third class II. GDR League . In 1958 he moved to the East Berlin SG Dynamo Hohenschönhausen within the 2nd GDR League . After he helped the SG to rise to the first GDR league in 1959 , he was taken over by the Dresden SG Dynamo, which was already established in the first GDR league. There Wühn immediately earned a place in the regular eleven with 24 appearances in the 26 league games played. He defended this confidently in the 1961/62 season, in which 39 point games were played due to the change to the summer-spring game rhythm. Wühn was called up in 38 matches and also scored a goal once, his only one in higher-class football. Dynamo Dresden made it into the GDR league during this season and nominated Wühn as a defender for the 1962/63 season. As such, he was used from the beginning in the league games and completed all the matches up to the 19th match day. He then no longer appeared in the Dynamo Dresden squad and never appeared in higher-class football.
