Dieter Pitthan
Dieter Pitthan (born June 30, 1941 in Klingenberg am Main ) was the mayor of Langen ( Hesse ) from July 1, 1990 to June 30, 2008 . He has been a member of the SPD since 1972 . On the occasion of his retirement he was made an honorary citizen of the city. Pitthan is also an honorary citizen of Langen's twin cities Tarsus ( Turkey ) and Romorantin ( France ).
