Dieter Röck

Dieter Röck (born January 17, 1933 in Dessau ) is a German business economist.

Röck attended elementary and commercial school in Dessau, then did an apprenticeship as a businessman with a commercial assistant examination in Leverkusen and attended a higher business school in Cologne . From 1954 on he studied business administration at the University of Cologne , completing his studies with a diploma examination. In 1959 he received his doctorate from the University of Graz , followed by a management trainee course. Röck then worked at Margarine-Union (merged into Unilever ) in Hamburg and as an assistant in a management consultancy in Bad Oeynhausen . From 1963 to 1968 he was deputy managing director and authorized signatory in the Bayer department store in Leverkusen. In 1986 he went to Bavaria. There he was a managing board member of co op Nordbayern , which became the Bavarian consumer goods trading company in 1988. From 1980 to 1991 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
