Dieter Rickert

Dieter Rickert (born April 20, 1940 in Bad Oldesloe ) is a German executive search consultant ("headhunter"). In an article in Manager Magazin , the journalist Andreas Nölting described him as "probably the most influential personnel consultant in the country". Dieter Rickert places top managers with companies. According to the company, more than half of the 100 largest German companies are or were among Rickert's customers.

Life

In the 1970s, Dieter Rickert was among other things in the management of the Federal Association of German Industry for four years . Originally he wanted to be a journalist. Rickert has been working as a personnel consultant since 1977. His company is called Büro Rickert and is based in Munich. Dieter Rickert learned the headhunting business at the end of the 1970s from James T. Fulghum in Zurich, one of the founding fathers of the headhunting industry in Europe. Today Rickert works with his younger partner Robert Harich.

"Clarity in Politics" initiative

Dieter Rickert started the initiative " Clarity in Politics ", which wanted to "shake up" the country with a publicity campaign. The campaign should cost around 100 million euros per year and be financed through donations to a foundation. The initiative was founded on July 19, 2003, when Dieter Rickert invited 450 entrepreneurs and scientists to Munich. 100 people came to the meeting. The idea of ​​establishing a foundation was given up in 2004 due to the high expenditure. Juergen B. Donges , Paul Kirchhof , Hans Tietmeyer and Werner Weidenfeld wanted to make themselves available for the Foundation Presidium . Dieter Rickert recommended the supporters of the foundation idea to financially support the Initiative Neue Soziale Marktwirtschaft (INSM), with which the initiative "Clarity in Politics" wanted to cooperate. Dieter Rickert is one of the founding members of the INSM Friends' Association.
