Dieter Schmiedel (* before 1971) is a German actor .

Life

Schmiedel has worked as a theater actor for many years since the opening in 1971 at the Volkstheater Frankfurt . He was one of the first actors on this stage.

On June 18, 1971, alongside Josef Wageck in the title role, he played the role of Leibschütz Miller ( Millerche ) in the popular play Der Bürgerkapitan by Carl Malß in the opening performance of the Frankfurt Volkstheater . In June 1976 he took on the role of Jochen in the comedy The Merry Vineyard at the side of the artistic director Liesel Christ and Irene Rohde as Klärchen ; Directed by Wolfgang Kaus . In 1977 he was seen in the Volksstück Alt-Frankfurt by Adolf Stoltze . In 1978 he played cousin Ignaz Scheel in the tightrope walker piece Katharina Knie . In 1979, again under the direction of Wolfgang Kaus, he appeared as father Hans in a Hessian dialect version of the comedy Schweig, Bub! on. The production was also recorded for television . In the 1979/1980 season he played the role of Carl Rothschild , one of the five sons, in the historical comedy Die Five Frankfurter by Carl Rössler . He took on this role again in the new production of the play in November 1991 and in the resumption of this production in October 1994.

In October 1990 he played, alongside Irene Rohde and Walter Flamme at the Frankfurt Volkstheater, the brother-in-law in the Schwank Die Spanish Fliege by Arnold and Bach , for the first time in Hessian dialect in an arrangement by Wolfgang Kaus.

Schmiedel also took on a few minor roles in television series , including Ein Fall für Zwei and Tatort . He was also seen in several television recordings of performances at the Frankfurt Volkstheater. In 1980 he worked on the ARD TV show One Will Win as an actor and performer.
