Dietmar Grupp

Dietmar Grupp (born December 13, 1956 in Ellwangen ) is a German lawyer and presiding judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Career

After completing his legal training, Grupp entered the higher judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1985 . During the probationary period, he was the prosecutor Ellwangen, the Stuttgart Administrative Court and the District Court and the district court Ellwangen assigned. In 1988 he was appointed public prosecutor for life at the Ellwangen Public Prosecutor's Office. In 1989 he was transferred to the Ellwangen Regional Court as a judge at the Regional Court. From there he was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant from 1994 to 1997. In 1998 he was promoted to presiding judge at the Ellwangen district court. Since his appointment as judge at the Federal Court of Justice in September 2008, he has been part of the IX, who is mainly responsible for insolvency and foreclosure law as well as lawyer and tax advisor liability. Civil Senate , of which he has been chairman since July 2020.
