Dietmar Seefeldt

Dietmar Seefeldt (born July 13, 1970 in Simmern / Hunsrück ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ). He has been the District Administrator of the Südliche Weinstrasse district since October 1, 2017.

Life

Seefeldt has lived in Offenbach an der Queich since he was two . After graduating from the Eduard-Spranger-Gymnasium in Landau in the Palatinate , he completed an apprenticeship as a qualified administrator at the district government of Rheinhessen-Pfalz in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse . Seefeldt then studied law with a focus on administrative and environmental law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

From 2000 he was legal advisor at Landesforsten Rheinland-Pfalz (Neustadt), from 2012 head of the legal department and chairman of the district law committee at the district administration Germersheim and since 2014 first district member and deputy of the district administrator with the tasks of youth, social affairs and schools in the district of Germersheim.

From 1994 to 2017 Seefeldt was a member of the Offenbach municipal council , and since 2004 he has been a member of the district council of the southern Weinstrasse district . From 2007 to 2017 he was CDU parliamentary group leader in the district council. On June 11, 2017, he prevailed against Torsten Blank ( SPD ) and Bärbel Conrad ( GRÜNE ) in the first ballot with 50.12% in the election to the district administrator of the district of Südliche Weinstrasse . He succeeds Theresia Riedmaier (SPD).
