Dietmar Werner (* 1938 in Chemnitz ) is a German non-fiction author who is best known as a collector and publicist of legends .

Life

Werner studied economics at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. In 1971 he received his doctorate there with the dissertation The formation of product groups in the automotive industry and the resulting conclusions for the design of branch and territorial planning, illustrated using the example of the product group Kfz. Trailer of the automotive industry . He worked in various areas in what is now Chemnitz. He has lived in Taura since 1994 .

Since the 1980s he has been collecting and publishing legends mainly from the area of ​​the Ore Mountains and mining.
